Group seeks wheat donations Written By: Keith Norman | Aug 30th 2019 - 10am.
A Grand Forks high school student is seeking small donations of wheat from around North Dakota in an effort to promote agriculture.
The project is called Bread of North Dakota and is also an educational opportunity for youth involved in the program.
Oliver Dalmi, a student at Central High in Grand Forks, is asking wheat farmers to furnish a half-pound sample of wheat that would then be processed and baked into loaves of bread. The bread would be presented at events as a way to promote North Dakota agriculture.
Dalmi is seeking farmers willing to donate wheat as well as events where Bread of North Dakota could participate.
